    Jingles and Mantras – here is a link to a post I made in the morning ritual forum. I really have found the jingle quite a powerful device to stay focussed and “on mission”. Keen to see what other in the Team have come up with and how you use it.

    Derek I love your mantra!! I may borrow that!! Mine is always a scripture and as I work out, the tougher the workout gets, I just have that scripture playing in my head but I emphasize a different word each time.
    Mine is ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” so every time it goes through my head , I emphasize a new word of it. This proves to be very powerful for me as it makes working out fun and solidifies a message deep inside my soul that I already believe! Thanks for starting this topic! Dianne

    Hi Dianne – yep pretty happy with it… key is it’s structure – I have been playing around with it in different situations and it is working well.

    Forensically it is really 4 stanzas. As long as 2 and 4 rhyme, it works.

    Also important that the number of syllables per stanza is kept to no more than 3.

    Great to see you basing your jingles/mantras around your faith (respect – I honour all faiths they are all pathways to what describe as”The Magnificence”).

    I look forward to you sharing how you integrste your faith and the practices.
